dc.description.abstractFrom this study, we can get the information about population status, demographic parameters, food and feeding ecology, habitat utilization, habitat preference, home range and movement and dispersal pattern of rhinoceros. This study will be useful in making plans for the conservation and management of this vulnerable species. Objectives of this study are as follows : to estimate the population status and analyze the demographic profiles (age structure, sex ratio, birth rate, death rate etc.), to study the feeding ecology, to find out the habitat availability and to study the habitat utilization, home range, movement and dispersal pattern.
