Ecodevelopment planning for biodiversity conservation : a guideline

Abstract

The present guideline attempt to address some of the changes that have taken place in understanding of the concept of ecodevelopment and also highlights some of the basic issues in planning as well as implementation of the ecodevelopment program. This guideline will help the PA managers in identifying and understanding the major issues in ecodevelopment. This guidelines also provides a broad framework for preparation of the village level micro plans along with the understanding of some of the participatory planning tools required for ecodevelopment planning
